Bee Sting

Open Field Farm September 12, 2023

By Abby

While in the garden the other day, I got two bee stings on my ankle. Ouch! We have herbal remedies nearby. I quickly chewed up some plantain leaf and yarrow leaf. I secured the poultice to my ankle with a bandage, and no more sting! They were itchy the next day, but no pain at all.

I highly recommend knowing where these plants live in the garden and perennials, in case you get stung while frolicking at the farm!
